Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how One Absolute ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Priority One mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data transparently.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores your planning data locally on your device by default. This includes:

Important: This data lives on your device by default. It only leaves your device in two cases: when content is sent for AI processing (section 1.2), and if you choose to enable optional cloud backup (section 1.5). We never sell your data.

1.2 Voice Recordings and Brain Dump Text

The core function of Priority One is to turn your spoken or typed brain dump into a structured day plan. To do this, the following data is temporarily sent to our secure servers:

We do not log, store, or retain the content of your voice recordings or brain dump text on our servers beyond the time required to process your request. Requests to AI providers carry the content needed to fulfil them — your brain dump text and, for plan generation, the first name you set in the app (so reminders can address you). Your email address and sign-in identity are never sent to AI providers.

1.3 In-App Purchase Information

Priority One uses a subscription model. Purchases are processed through:

We do not store your payment details. RevenueCat handles purchase verification according to their privacy policy.

1.4 Notifications

If you grant notification permissions, the App schedules local notifications on your device to alert you when each time block begins. In addition, the App registers a push notification token (via Firebase Cloud Messaging) so we can notify you when a plan generated in the background is ready, and occasionally about offers. The token identifies your device for delivery purposes only; you can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

1.5 Optional Account and Cloud Backup

You can optionally sign in with Google or Apple (via Firebase Authentication). Signing in enables cloud backup: a copy of your content (plans, Horizon items, notes, completed history, and your first name) is stored securely in Google Firestore so you can restore it on a new device. Backup is off until you enable it. Your sign-in identity is also used to apply fair-use limits to AI requests.

1.6 Analytics, Crash Reporting, and Attribution

To understand how the App is used and to fix problems, we collect:

Analytics events do not include the content of your brain dumps, plans, or notes.

2. How We Use Your Information

2.1 Voice and Text Data

2.2 Local Data

2.3 Purchase Data

3. Data Storage and Security

3.1 Local Storage

Your day plans, Horizon, notes, and settings are stored on your device. Unless you enable cloud backup, we do not hold a copy.

3.2 Server Processing

Voice audio and brain dump text pass through our server (hosted on a private VPS) solely for the purpose of AI processing. We do not log or persist this content; we do record request counts per account to enforce fair-use limits. All connections use HTTPS (TLS encryption) in transit.

3.3 Optional Cloud Backup

If you sign in and enable backup, a copy of your content (section 1.5) is stored in Google Firestore, associated with your account, until you delete it or ask us to. Backup data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Google's infrastructure. If you never enable backup, no such copy exists.

3.4 Device Backups

Your device's operating system may include locally stored app data in automatic backups (e.g., iCloud for iOS, Google Backup for Android). These are managed by your device manufacturer under their own privacy policies. We have no access to these backups.

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 AI Model Providers

Transcription, plan generation and amendment, capture routing, and note organisation use AI models from the providers below. The specific provider varies by feature and may change as we improve the service. Every provider receives only what section 1.2 describes — the content of your request, never your email address or sign-in identity.

4.2 RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. For more information: revenuecat.com/privacy

4.3 Apple App Store / Google Play Store

Payment processing is handled by Apple and Google under their respective privacy policies:

4.4 Expo

The App is built with Expo. For more information: expo.dev/privacy

4.5 Google Firebase

We use Firebase for optional sign-in (Authentication), optional cloud backup (Firestore), push notification delivery (Cloud Messaging), analytics, and remote configuration. For more information: firebase.google.com/support/privacy

4.6 PostHog

We use PostHog (EU-hosted) for product analytics. For more information: posthog.com/privacy

4.7 Sentry

We use Sentry (EU data region) for crash and error reporting. For more information: sentry.io/privacy

4.8 AppsFlyer

Where enabled, we use AppsFlyer for install attribution. For more information: appsflyer.com/legal/services-privacy-policy

5. Your Rights and Choices

5.1 Access and Deletion

Your planning data lives on your device, under your control. You can delete data by:

5.2 Voice Data

You may choose to use text input instead of voice input at any time — no audio recording is required to use the App.

5.3 Notification Preferences

You can grant or revoke notification permissions at any time through your device's system settings.

5.4 GDPR Rights (European Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights under GDPR:

5.5 CCPA Rights (California Users)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

6. Children's Privacy

Priority One is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used the App in a way that transmitted personal data, please contact us and we will address it promptly.

7. Data Retention

7.1 Local Data

Retained on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Unless you enable cloud backup, we have no access to this data.

7.2 Voice and Text Data

Not retained by us. Audio and text are processed in real time and discarded immediately after your plan is generated. AI providers retain API content under their own policies (section 4.1) — for example, OpenAI and Anthropic delete API content within about 30 days.

7.3 Cloud Backup Data

If enabled, retained until you delete it or request deletion (section 5.1).

7.4 Purchase Data

Retained by RevenueCat and the App Stores as necessary to process refunds, restore purchases, and comply with legal obligations.

7.5 Analytics and Crash Data

Retained according to each provider's retention policy (see section 4).

8. International Data Transfers

When you use voice or text input, your content passes through our server and is forwarded to one of our AI model providers (section 4.1). Depending on the provider handling your request, this content may be processed in the United States (OpenAI, Anthropic — both offer data-processing agreements with UK-recognised safeguards), Singapore (Moonshot AI), or China (DeepSeek). Because requests are never linked to your email address or sign-in identity (section 1.2), the personal data involved in these transfers is limited to whatever you choose to include in a brain dump, plus the first name you set in the app. Cloud backup and push notifications use Google infrastructure, which may process data in the United States. Our analytics (PostHog) and crash reporting (Sentry) are hosted in the European Union. By using these features, you consent to these transfers. All connections are encrypted via HTTPS.

9. Security Measures

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will:

Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
